The Intertek High-Performance Mark Program is a verification program covering the marketing of high-performance features of consumer products. Application of the High-Performance Mark (HP Mark) on a product indicates that the samples tested by Intertek met the requirements established for specific high-performance functionalities as listed in the Program’s requirement table (https://www.intertek.com/products-retail/hp-mark/). The verification of high-performance claims is based on the test results at the time of initial testing based on a selected sample. Applicants must ensure that a representative sample is provided to Intertek for testing. Also, if there is any change in design, material, processing, or sourcing of the product that may impact the property for which the HP Mark was issued, the applicant shall inform Intertek and submit a new application for the HP Mark.
